Jacob has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, highlighted by working with Charles Schwab (Fortune 500, #175) and New York Life (Fortune 500, #71) prior to joining Opal Advisors. He brings a wealth of investment, insurance, and financial planning knowledge and experience to Opal’s team where he serves as an investment advisor and financial consultant.

Jacob’s approach emphasizes relationships and communication. He is able to take complex financial instruments and strategies and turn them into actionable items aimed at bettering the investors’ wealth and personal situations. Helping clients achieve their personal and financial goals is paramount to him.

One principle that Jacob seeks to live by is a quote from legendary UCLA basketball coach, John Wooden: “Leadership is the ability to get individuals to work together for the common good and the best possible results while at the same time letting them know they did it themselves.”

Jacob lives in Issaquah with his wife Alyssa and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Lou. He is also the head coach of the Washington A’s 15U summer baseball team for the 2024 season.
