Sprague believes on-going goal determination to be the most important element of the financial planning process. He enjoys deep discussions with clients about closely-held dreams and goals, for themselves, their families, and their communities. He believes that all strategies flow from goals and then resources. The determination of a desired life’s journey, centered on what is deeply meaningful, is essential to achieving true success.

Sprague joined the Opal team in 2024. He grew up in Woodinville, WA. and attended the University of Nevada on a golf scholarship graduating with a degree in Business Management in 2003. While at Nevada, Sprague was an NCAA Division 1 Academic All-American performer before turning professional to pursue a career on the PGA Tour. 
In 2011, Sprague brought his passions for life, people, finance, and yes, golf to Renaissance Wealth Counsel to begin his advisory career and in 2015 became a CFP® and joined the Opal team in 2025.    

Sprague and his wife, Stephanie, live in Snoqualmie WA with their two children, Rayna and Johnny.
